Our Green Belt must be protected. The Burnham/Hitcham Farm development must not go ahead. 

Many residents are rightly concerned about these proposals - and I share those concerns. 

An initial application has now been submitted seeking a Scoping Opinion, which is an early planning step that sets out what environmental impacts would need to be assessed. 

After correspondence  I have formally submitted my objection to this. This proposal should not even progress to an outline planning stage.

Such a large development would place enormous pressure on already stretched infrastructure: utilities, roads, public transport, GP and health services, schools, and leisure facilities.
