Another update following the comms posted last night.

Hi everyone,

Just a little update based on the AI word salad posted on Homerton Maternity's instagram, announcing that the homebirth team intrapartum support suspension should to be lifted by the 9th October.  It’s a real shame that none of the management team took the trouble to share the announcement with the homebirth midwifery team!  

We have a record of all the communications (or lack thereof) so the generic and distinctly “gaslight heavy” emails we’ve been forwarded have been noted and documented.  

We’re taking a little bit of credit that the noise might be working but we’re still keeping up the pressure and we are not pausing any of our activities.  We’ve updated the letter to your MP  to reflect the latest communications. 

Tune into ITV news tomorrow evening for an interview with some of the families directly affected, alongside a representative from Birthrights.org

The protest is still going ahead Tuesday 29th at 11am at Homerton hospital – please keep sharing, We look forward to seeing you there!
