Hello again,

With your diligent sharing, speaking, and gusto, city hall has heard our arguments and has taken action to acquire the greenspace known as the Baptist lawn. The council UNANIMOUSLY approved the purchase and the project is under contract. It needs a 90 day due-diligence period to be successful. 

The Baptist name has been removed from the existing sign and some trees have already been trimmed. We are excited to see what the future holds for the lawn.
