First, thank you. Over 60,000 of you have already stood with us to defend Glasgow’s only 24-hour volunteer-led night shelter and hot food service. Your support means everything — and it has shown that Glasgow and Scotland care deeply about protecting the most vulnerable.

We are writing to update you:

On 25th April 2025, Glasgow City Council made the devastating decision to REFUSE planning permission for our shelter at 71 Glassford Street.
This decision puts 33 people at risk of sleeping rough every night and 350 people at risk of going hungry every day.

But we are not giving up — and we need you now more than ever.

✅ Email your MSPs and Glasgow City Councillors today — ask them to stand with us, and to demand that Glasgow City Council reverses this cruel decision.
