The Government in partnership with non-state actors is supporting various toll free Helplines to respond to and ensure appropriate referrals for survivors/victims of GBV.  

The Gender-Based Hotline-1195 is toll free to access and it is linked to local facilities that provide medical treatment and prevention of infections, legal aid and rescue centers. It also offers immediate 24-hour confidential tele-counselling and coordination of rescue missions.

The Police Helpline- 999/112/911 is in case you need to reach the police urgently call this number. 

The Childline Kenya Helpline-116 provides counselling, rescue, safe shelter, medical care and legal support. The providers are also dedicated to provision of education to the public on child safety across the country.

Text Uwiano SMS Platform-108 to report a violation/conflict and request for assistance. They deal with cases involving SGBV, land disputes, destruction of property, governance issues,, criminal activity and many more. 

Call Kimbilio GBV Helpline-1193 if you are a victim of Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) and/or Sexual Violence. They provide counselling and referrals. 

Text the FIDA SMS platform-21661 to report the perpetrator of a GBV incident. In addition, text this number if you are a GBV victim to get civil, political, economic, social and cultural assistance.
