You might have noticed that for a few weeks now, certain titles using Easy Anti-Cheat have failed to launch on Shadow. The reason lies in an update to the anti-cheat software, which now considers virtual machines more likely to be used for bypassing game rules. In the vast majority of cases, the game studios involved were unaware of this block. Since Shadow PCs do not provide users with tools to cheat, we have been doing everything possible since December to resolve the problem. Discussions are ongoing with Epic and various publishers to prove our legitimacy and have Shadow PCs validated on EAC servers. We will keep you informed as soon as possible regarding a positive breakthrough in the situation.
