We have great legislation that your voice can assist with! The name of the legislation is Pharmacists Fight Back or HR 9096. The name for the pharmacists that have been fighting for years to bravely expose the issues with Optum Rx, CVS Caremark, & Express Scripts from the many issues as patient forced to mail order to the way these corporations increase drug prices. Let's do our part as patients, caregivers, & community members to get this legislation over the finish line.
"This legislation is crucial for protecting taxpayers and patients from price gouging and other PBM abuses,” said Loretta Boesing, Executive Director, Unite for Safe Medications.
“Moreover, PBMs' exclusion of thousands of community pharmacies from networks like Tricare forces patients to use PBM-owned mail-order pharmacies, reduces patient choice, increases risks associated with obtaining medications, and jeopardizes the survival of local pharmacies that are essential to America’s healthcare system."

We will create a template for emailing in the near future, but honestly members of Congress react best to their constituents that aren't cookie cutter templates. A sentence or two can be brief such as, "Please co-sponsor The Pharmacists Fight Back Legislation HR 9096." Then, include at least another sentence or two to let them know why this issue is personally important for you, your loved ones, your community, and/or nation.
