The Attorney for a patient who died after an issue with a mail-order pharmacy delivery warns others that mail-order pharmacy isn't well regulated. Sadly, many of us only find out after being forced to mail order. The mail order pharmacies that many are forced to use face few and often no consequences for delays and improper temperature storage. Medication mix-ups also happen. Some have shared photos of a loved one in a casket after received the wrong medication. Choosing a pharmacist and pharmacy that you trust is as critical as selecting a heart surgeon for a heart surgery. One wrong move and a life can be taken.

I've lost count of the number of patients, some of whom were children, that I've seen on hospital beds due to mail-order pharmacy delays or other issues related to mail order pharmacy.

If someone wants to take the many risks, they should be able. No one should be forced. We deserve choice, justice, & protection.

The lack of regulation and protection is a main reason for our protest by Express Scripts Headquarters at 1 Express Way, St. Louis, MO on May 17, 2024 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
