Petition updateStop Forcing Mail-Order Pharmacy as the Only Option of CoverageCVS Caremark's License May Get Revoked or Suspended In This State!

Oklahoma's Commissioner Glen Mulready announces action to possibly revoke or suspend CVS Caremark's license for failing to follow the Patient Choice of Pharmacy Act.

After a Patient Choice of Pharmacy legislation was passed in Oklahoma, CVS was fined millions of dollars for failing to follow the law. Then, CVS appeared to use patients' lives to retaliate. One patient stated, CVS is putting the screws to us, only allowing us 30 days unless we go to mail order and plus they have increased…all the prices are more than double [for us],” said Robert Pearce in an interview Tuesday with KFOR.

CVS is trying to overpower the will of the people in Oklahoma, and I hope that the people of Oklahoma win!

CVS Caremark is one of three of the largest pharmacy benefit managers or PBMs that force to their own mail order and CVS retail pharmacies. Using their power to force to their own pharmacies has allowed CVS Caremark to become one of the wealthiest corporations in our nation.

In Oklahoma, error rates of over 20% have been cited at CVS retail pharmacies. As Oklahoma has attempted to regulate the temperatures of mail order pharmacies, CVS appeared at the Oklahoma Board of Pharmacy speaking against the regulations.

Commissioner Glen Mulready states that CVS has received a prior warning that resulted in millions of dollars in fines. The fines are not working, so the commissioner announced further actions would be taken against the company's license.

Please keep sharing the petition. We are getting so close to winning.

I appreciate your support,
