Click here to Join Our Community to Fight to Improve Medication Access

A lot is happening, and we need your help to improve the current state of pharmacy and medication access. You can decide which issues you would like to help with from delays, improper temperature storage, forced mail order pharmacy, pharmacy closures, poor communication, other issues or all of the above.

First, if you're willing to speak about the issues and lack of regulation of temperatures of mail order pharmacies, the following states will have Board of Pharmacy regulatory meetings: Louisiana, Missouri, Texas, and Oklahoma. If you want to get the temperature issue on the agenda in your state, let me know, and I'll walk you through the process. If I can attend with you,  I will.

I'll attend the Missouri Board of Pharmacy Meeting on April 13th at 11 AM. I would appreciate any support, even if it's just sitting in the seats next to me as I speak.

Additionally, we've seen a lot of movement in the fight with pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs) that force to their own mail order pharmacies, Express Scripts, Optum Rx, and CVS Caremark.

The House Oversight Committee in the last couple of weeks announced an investigation.  You can read the letters submitted to the pharmacy benefit managers here.

Additionally, Wendell Potter shared a written letter from a prior Chief Medical Officer of Express Scripts, Ed Weisbart, MD who admitted that both "safer and affordable" claims told to our legislators "were ridiculous." You can read the full written article here.

Next month, we will hold a group meeting with those who chose to join the community. We will organize those willing to become more actively involved by state. Don't feel like you have to be perfect to join. We need people from various levels to use their voices and unique abilities to help us make medication access safer.  I'm extremely excited to see this finally happening.

Thank you Change.org and our supporters,
