Happy Thanksgiving to a wonderful group of supporters. I'm thankful to each of you who've signed the petition and supported us in any way to stop the forcing to mail order pharmacies. You are making a difference!
We will give an extra shout-out to Change.org. Through this petition, we've connected with many patients, caregivers, pharmacists and their staff, and advocates. In addition, we are currently being filmed for a documentary.
Our son is a liver transplant survivor. Without his gift of life, I don't know if I would have encountered the issue that we had that led us to this petition. Our hearts go out to the family whose gift of life led us here.
While my son was waiting for his gift of life, there was one time when I didn't think my son would make it. I would ask the transplant surgeon, "Are we going to make it?" She replied, "As long as we're trying, there is still hope."
It's been over three years since I started the petition, and I see many trying. Many share the petition, their experiences, and their knowledge of the issues.
I see the momentum building. There is so much hope!
