Petition updateStop Forcing Mail-Order Pharmacy as the Only Option of CoverageHelp by Writing A Letter To Employers Informing Them of Issues With Forced Mail Order Pharmacy

Hi everyone!

Our employers are unaware of the many issues patients face with forced mail-order pharmacies. Many employees are afraid to complain to their employers out of fear of retaliation. Would you please help us write letters that will go to employers across our nation informing them about why forcing or steering patients to one mail-order pharmacy hurts patients

We can keep these in a file and send them anonymously or with permission, we can allow the letters to include your first name and last initial.

You can still help even if you haven't had issues yet. Please at least share your concerns about the lack of options for others. My email is loretta@uniteforsafemeds.com If you want to write a letter but desire to remain anonymous, I understand and will honor that request.  Some of the issues patients have when they are forced to mail-order include:

  • life-threatening delays
  • thefts
  • loss of packages
  • damaged medications
  • improper temperature storage
  • lack of proper consultation with trusted pharmacy staff
  • medication waste
  • price gouging as some found that the cash price at an independent pharmacy was much lower than the copay at their insurance owned mail order pharmacy.
  • long hold times or offshore customer service
  • any other concerns or issues that you may have
  • pets have ingested medications left on doorsteps

Many local pharmacies deliver for free in temperature-controlled vehicles without the risks of delays. Many fear that they will never have safe options in their coverage without your voice.

Thank you for your time and your support,

Loretta Boesing
