Happy New Year to our supporters! 2020 may have created some barriers to our advocacy, but we REFUSE to give up! I'm going to ask today for just a few seconds of your time.

This will help us to raise awareness and demand better from the CEOs and legislators who are not acting to save our lives and the lives of our children. 

At one time, my family was forced to CVS Specialty Mail-order Pharmacy as the only option of coverage for my son's liver transplant. Knowing that medications would be stored improperly in only a bag and in trucks that per NBC can reach 150 degrees, I felt helpless. Our trusted pharmacy that offers curbside pick up or safe delivery in temperature-controlled vehicles was removed from our coverage. We now get special treatment, but many of our supporters are still trapped in the system and the special treatment will not last forever. Laws must change.

Many on this petition taught me about the delays of medications and interruptions in treatment. Many of the delays were prior to 2020 issues. 2020 created the perfect storm for medication delays that occurred by the millions. 

In December of 2020, NBC national news shared the issues with insurance owned mail-order pharmacies and temperature. Applying the pressure right now is critical.
