There is still time to register for a rally in Albany led by the Pharmacists Society for the State of New York (PSSNY) against the abuses of the pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs) such as Optum RX, CVS Caremark, and Express Scripts) that forces patients to use their owned or affiliated mail-order pharmacy.
Recently, Governor Cuomo vetoed a bill that would have:
1. Lowered prescription drug costs
2. Protected a prescriber's ability to prescribe the medication that is best for the patient
3. Ensured patients can keep visiting the pharmacy of their choice
The Rally will be held at the Empire State Plaza Conference Center in New York
