Information from villages of Westcreek Board Meeting

Information from today's Board Meeting about the Fireworks Building.
Elaine Powell-Maurer Our Hoa Vice President Spoke with the Vice President of the Mr. W Fireworks corporation today. Her name is Kelly Martinez previously Kelly Wildman (she's Original Mr. W grandaughter & current Mr. W daugher)
She said they will store the minimum fireworks during the year, but couldn't tell her what the minimum number will be. Elaine asked about signage, she said it would have Mr W logo but also couldn't tell her if I would have the big gorilla. The store will have the typical fireworks stand lighting during store hours and security lights when being used for storage. The store will be open 23 days a year and otherwise not be in use. Hours are approx 10 am-10 pm 7 days a week
The store is considered an indoor store & not a warehouse.
They are not interested in sitting down with the community. However Elaine can call her with any additional questions we may have in the future.
She did confirm they own the building, it's not leased or franchised and that a church will be running the indoor shop during the time it's open. She's not sure which church as of right now. The church is given a portion on the commission on sales, it's a way Mr W gives back to communities.
Board Treasurer, Heather Mallia has been doing extensive research into community safety, fireworks regulations, code compliance and standards and the board has sent some of the documents they've found to the HOA attorneys to review to see if there is anything we can do and to be sure that all codes are enforced to the fullest extent possible.
