MANIFESTO OF REASON AND LIFE

We, the people of the 21st century, declare: enough of spending billions on war while science and medicine ask for crumbs.

We live in an age when humans can fly beyond our planet and edit DNA, yet millions of children die from diseases that could have long been defeated.

We create weapons capable of destroying the entire world in hours, but cannot find the funds to save millions of lives from cancer, genetic disorders, or hunger.

We know this can change.

— If even a portion of the world’s military budgets were redirected to science.

— If laboratories and schools became the priority instead of rockets and tanks.

— If every government understood that true security lies not in new bullets, but in healthy, educated people.

We call on the leaders of all nations to:

Reach a new agreement to reduce the arms race — and invest the freed resources into medicine, fundamental science, education, and clean energy.
Make open scientific projects a global priority, not military secrets.
Invest in technologies that heal and build, not those that kill.

We appeal to all people:

Do not stay silent. Demand wise priorities from your elected leaders.
Support scientists, volunteers, and projects that build peace, not weapons.
Teach your children that any war is always a defeat of reason.

 

Humanity must choose who it wants to be:

A species that destroys itself in the fire of guns and rockets?

Or a civilization that turns the power of reason toward creation — and one day cures what today seems incurable?
