When reading the details, it is eery how similar these people’s experiences mirror our own. In desperation I recently reached out to a landscaping group on Facebook asking for help, and was first eagerly offered support, until I mentioned Tony Walters’ name, and rapidly the guy did a 360 on me, repeatedly stating that “there are two sides to every story”, then refused to speak to me… like all feeble minded people do when you confront them with the facts and the truth that they don’t want to acknowledge, least of all to themselves.
Goes to show just how tight these networks on Facebook are in my opinion, and just how many unregistered traders of all types, are coordinating through these private groups, as they all seem be using the same play book. Good to hear that Worcester Trading Standards are investigating him criminally, hopefully other counties will follow suit, and Facebook at some point is held accountable for the liability breaches they have committed against their own T&Cs regarding their negligence in preventing this kind of fraudulent activity.
