The Sari revolutionary court sentenced Javad Roohi to three executions. He is charged with corruption in the land and fighting against God (Meharebeh), apostasy by desecrating the Quran and burning it, burning and destroying properties, and inciting some citizens to create insecurity. His lawyer states that Javad suffers from mental illness and that there is no evidence that Javad was involved in arson or destruction. Even in the images recorded by cameras he can only be seen at the scene and does not participate in the actions.
It is crime to sentence a person to death without sufficient causes, especially for some people who are vulnerable and Javad is one of them. Before protests started in Iran, Javad was hospitalized for six months for some kind of nerve disease. Be the voice of Javad and all vulnerable people who are in prison and sentenced to death.
