Humanoid Robots and the 'Labor Gap'

(The following is written without ChatGPT and other services, etc.)
Hi -
Some years ago, a research division of Goldman Sachs posted an article regarding their projections of how Humanoid Robots might impact the workforce. (Link to Article) A noteworthy point of their projection was that IF all obstacles of wide dissemination were overcome (public opinion, technological / design challenges, etc.) then these Humanoid Robots could fill 48% to 126% of all labor that (currently) doesn't have fair or cost effective solutions ('labor gap').
We can infer from this many things -- but chief among them, I would observe, is that we humans don't currently have a terrific understanding or solution for much of the work that needs to be performed in our society. For example, one type of 'labor gap' work that the Goldman Sachs article suggested these Humanoid Robots could address is, "Elderly Care."
So from this we can further observe the following, "1) We don't know how to deal with our elders or death, and 2) Humanoid Robots (and other convoluted technologies) are our best solution thus far."
From a cultural perspective, this is a fascinating catastrophe -- and one of the many Ouroboros (snake-eating-its'-own-tail) dilemmas of our society.
Rather than make robots that can take care of our elders, why not strive to build a culture where taking care of our elders is an important human-to-human work?
