Reflections on Humanoid Robots and AI

It's hard to overstate the potential impact these new tools in robotics and AI will have on our culture. One outstanding challenge is our tendency to personify these tools -- or to interact with them in a way that extends our humanity to them. 

Some years ago, I wrote a brief article on how it's not necessary (and also potentially unwise) to casually anthropomorphize AI -- and I think the logic carries over for Humanoid Robots.
