Please share this petition all across social media in Malaysia if you can. You can post on Facebook, Instagram, X, etc. We want children to be safe, that's important. However, systems that cause more risks such as the leaking of children's IDs cannot protect children. The real protections are digital literacy, parental engagement and controls, privatising accounts, proper content moderation using both humans and AI and even mental health counselling to help children navigate their emotions and how to deal with things online.
