Unfortunately the River O Green fest is right around the corner. So wanted to let everyone know that there is currently an Algae Bloom in the Hillsborough River. The Bloom seems to be from Cass St up to the Columbus bridge. But with tides this range could change.

FIU was taking water samples to identify the bloom and we are waiting for those results.

Just another reason we need to stop putting chemicals, waste, trash and anything else unnatural in the Hillsborough River.
