2026 Budget plans to further Strip Veterans Access to Health Care

The federal Government has announcing "Rampant Fraud" in veteran healthcare will be targeted in tomorrow's federal budget.

DVA have been accusing advocates and providers of fraud for years. We know there are a few bad actors in this space, and they should be dealt with appropriately. The few (as announced by DVA on multiple occasions) should not be used as a government excuse to justification stripping veterans' autonomy in breach of Recommendation 101. 

In the coming days however, it will come to light which side of the table the serious bad actors sit.
