It's been a long time since this petition has been updated. But new news at hand is that there is a class action that affected employees and ex-employees can join. 

I have been advised that:

There is a website now set up for the class action for workers of franchisees who were employed between June 2013 and January 2018. This action affects the vast majority of workers at franchisees during that time and workers who register online will each be assessed to determine their claim. There is no cost to register online and no worker will be out of pocket for participating in the class action.
