Predatory short selling is now front page news around the world thanks to the ongoing "GameStop stock surge" story. We applaud the efforts of retail investment communities seeking to raise public awareness on an unfair capital market system that allows predatory short sellers and manipulative hedge funds to control the system. We feel this story helps to expose the trading activities of some large hedge funds and the effect they continue to have on emerging publicly listed companies trying to raise capital and contribute to the economy.

It is inspiring to see what can happen when a critical mass of people can come together and "fight back" against a system they feel is rigged against them.  It is however disturbing that trading in certain shares can be restricted.

Retail shareholders for years have known how hedge funds manipulate stocks on global stock exchanges and now the people fight back and they are called "manipulators".

To quote a good bloke Bruce Campbell

"The only time regulators take notice of manipulation is when hedge funds get a taste of their own medicine ie Game Stop"
