Below is an email written by a shareholder from Orinoco Gold.  It shows the frustration many of us have felt.   I would also like to tell people that chipping in $26 is very valuable for promoting this petition.  I don't receive anything, it all goes to promotion.  Lastly I would like to try and understand how this petition got about 500 signatures from the UK in one night alone??? Did someone share this petition in the UK to a large following? Its outstanding.

To the Prime Minister and Cabinet and ASIC,

To whom it may concern,

I am writing regarding the Orinoco Gold Fraud Investigation ASIC Ref CAS-2770-P0M0S8 - Orinoco Gold Limited (Subject to Deed of Company Arrangement)(Company).

It has now been seven weeks since my last email and over 7 months since ASIC were first notified about possible Orinoco Gold (ASX:OGX) company breaches.

At the time ASIC claimed to be 'investigating' the matter but nobody from your department has even provided the courtesy of a response and everything now seems to be 'business as usual'.

I was told by Orinoco management that their 'friends at ASIC' would never investigate them. They said that the 'boys from Perth' were untouchable and would continue doing what 'they do best'.. and this now appears true. What a corrupt system we have where even blatant breaches of the law are ignored by those elected by the people to uphold the law.

Where is the integrity in your department? What progress has been made in the last 7 months? Is there even an investigation from ASIC or is this just another lie and cover up to protect your 'friends'?

It now appears that Orinoco Gold plans to delist the company and then relist in Canada to avoid any ASIC investigation - because 'ASIC are asking too many questions'. Is ASIC going to allow this?

It also appears that ASIC staff themselves may have provided this advice in order to 'avoid unnecessary scrutiny and extra work' for the department...

Does ASIC now give legal advice to private companies on how to avoid legal action by duped shareholders? Is that your new role?

Who is investigating ASIC behaviour?

When this goes to the media I will be asking our solicitors to name everyone on this email trail who did nothing and ignored their own policy guidelines and duty of care.

Before the company delists and disappears overseas with all the documents can someone from ASIC please do the right thing and investigate this mess and get a copy of the documents before they are shredded.

Can someone from the Prime Ministers office also investigate ASIC staff behaviour.

Not doing your job and simply ignoring clear evidence of wrongdoing will make ASIC and its senior executive as guilty as those that have breached the law.

Claiming ignorance will not be an excuse when this becomes a Senate investigation and media circus. Some of us have chosen to fight on for the truth despite losing our life savings and marriages.

I hope that when you all go home tonight to your homes that you will spare a thought for the 'unwashed masses' that cling to the hope that one of you has some decency and honor and will help in bringing this company to justice.

I await the courtesy of a prompt response from both ASIC and the Prime Ministers Office.
