Will our Greenbelt be Paved? Its Time to Act!

Despite our community's staunch opposition to reversing almost a century of conservation planning, this 3 person council (with 1 on leave due to their bullying) may be prepared to start tearing into our "identity" & our OCP by sprawling into our welcoming greenbelt around Milner Gardens--the entryway to our community.

Next Wednesday, they are poised to advance this shameless handout to one of the Mayor's campaign contributors. This protected parcel cannot so much have one more home put on it. Yet, it is being claimed to only increase in value by $540K if the council allows them to pack in what may be 16 million-dollar properties.

That's a handout, and its on taxpayers' back who will now see a pittance for the community amenity contributions. So please understand, it isn't just the environment that loses for private profits. It is all of us and our children

There is a reason Teunis Westbroek called this the "Thin Edge of the Wedge". Maybe he has a shred of integrity left? Maybe not. We encourage you to reach out and let him know your thoughts.
