Thankyou so much for placing your name to our petition to save the Historic Tree and Burials linked to Phar Lap, from being destroyed by a Developer Subdividing his investment property, in St Albans Park, Geelong. This beautiful tree is also home to many of our Native animals

We still need your help though. Whilst our cause is gathering momentum in the media we need you to submit a detailed objection to Council.

The key points are: 1-The destruction of the Historic Tree and Burials, 2 - There is an existing Covenant in place prohibiting the land being further subdivided, unless Council overrule the Covenant, 3 - The proposed Subdivision is out of character for the surrounding neighbourhood with the proposed subdivision containing Lots 1/3 the size of the neighbouring properties. Neighbourhood Character is therefore not meet and clauses in the Planning Scheme are therefore not met. 4 - The affect destroying it will have on Native animals that call it home

There are other factors which have been detailed in the media.
