5500+ signatures in under 48 hours and an important update on donations!

Hi everyone, 

I honestly don't even know where to begin ... What has happened over the last 48 hours is absolutely isane! 

Our petition to save small businesses has officially passed 5500 signatures, a milestone I would have never dreamt of. I started all of this from frustration about my own small business and the fact that nobody seemed to care about the new EPR law and its impact on so many people just like me. I felt alone in this. Now, we have proven that we are not a minority and that the future of the creative community in the EU truly matters. 

I want to thank every single one of you who signed and shared this petition. I also want to be completely transparent about two important things happening behind the scenes: 

• Transparency regarding financial donations: More than 180 of you have contributed over 800€ in total! Your willingness to support this cause financially genuinely moved me. However, I want to make one thing very clear - none of this money goes to my personal account. When Change.org prompts you to make a donation after signing, 100% of those funds go directly to Change.org, which uses them to run paid promotions and display the petition to more people online. On my end, this is a purely voluntary initiative. 
• What helps the MOST according to the data: Looking at analytics of where new signatures are coming from, the result is crystal clear - sharing on Instagram has the biggest impact! It makes almost half of all signatures! Your stories, posts and messages are generating the largest wave of new people. So, if you have signed the petition but haven't posted about it yet, this is the single most powerful way you can help right now. 

How to take action right now: 

• Copy the petition link and share it in your Instagram stories or with your online community
• Send it directly to your favourite creators who make and ship their own products in the EU

We are not slowing down. Let's keep pushing so they hear us all the way in Brussels!
