Thank you for signing the petition and for your concern for the future of the big scrub houses in Lismore.

As people would be aware the Demolition program of the RA kicked off in Baillie St, Nth Lismore in the second week of April and continued in Pine St. We knew we were in for a long fight. 

BUT! seems like there has been a pause (although RA deny it) coincidentally during an election campaign. We say if the RA can pause the demolitions for a political reason, they can pause it for a rethink and real community consultation about alternatives.

Even more reason for the community to come together post election.  

So join Us and Rally to Protect Our Homes & Demand a Just Recovery   

Our Demands:
1. Immediately Halt All Demolitions & Reconstruct the Northern Rivers.
2. As Promised, Prioritise Relocation, Reuse, Raises & Retrofits of Our Homes.
3. Nobody left behind, we stand with South Lismore and other areas that have received no support from the RA.

We call on Minister for Recovery Janelle Saffin and the NSW Reconstruction Authority to stop the destruction and commit to a recovery that is equitable, transparent, and community-led.
