Quick Hobart Data Center Update as of Feb. 17th, 2026

• The Economic Revitalization Area hearing today went well! We're hopeful that based on what is on record, the judge sees that not enough information was presented (at least to the public) to prove this area is actually blighted and impossible for development. The judge’s verdict will be issued Friday.

• NEXT UP: Several residents are appealing the fill permit approved by the Plan Commission Hearing that took place on Feb. 5th. That appeal will be heard tomorrow Feb 18th, 2026 at the Board of Public Works meeting at 3:30 PM. If you can attend, please do so -- public presence matters.

• Also, with the weather finally nice, residents are planning to peacefully rally at City Hall at 5:00 PM tomorrow Feb 17th, 2026.

• City Council meeting follows at 6:00 PM -- stay, show up, and be seen.

• LASTLY, STAY TUNED -- WE HAVE ONE MORE IMPORTANT UPDATE THAT I WILL BE ANNOUNCING TOMORROW!!!
