I am really sorry but I am for the Data Center. Our city is on a steady decline and it will help. I am certain US Steel intends to screw Granite City and leave us with a superfund site and no funds. The mayor has been very diligent in what safeguards will be in place and I trust him.
Frankly, I was appointed alderperson and was on the zoning committee. I got death threats. People need to stop with the hateful rhetoric. The folks that are against it normally don’t bother to vote.
