Join us for an organizing meeting this Saturday (9/27) at 1:30PM at the Bladensburg Library. We will be discussing plans to bring further public pressure to those with power to cancel the data center at the old Landover Mall Site. Everyone has a role to play in this fight, so we hope to see you at this one even if you couldn’t join us for the first meeting! See you there!

LEGISLATIVE UPDATE: Because of the wave of protest and pushback from the community, the PG county officials have issued a temporary pause on all data center approvals until the Data Center Task Force completes its recommendations and the County is able to review those recommendations. This shows how powerful the people united are.

It’s important to remember that this deal should not have happened in the first place and it was the county officials that initially sold the community out. While we celebrate this pause, this fight is far from over. We must keep fighting until the project is cancelled for good!
