Tonight we were met by Kevin with not only the willingness to take it down but with urgency. After discussions, the community asked Kevin to once again remove alcohol from the tipi so we could smudge it down prior to that happening. A couple hours later the tipi was taken down! 
This is a success in so many ways. The conversations, education and understanding that was had through this week was remarkable. Those who weren’t ready to hear or understand may possibly consider their view point at their next visit.
