The exposure draft of the Australian Consumer Law changes has been released and doesn't appear to contain any of the recommended strengthening and clarification of the ACL at all. We need to tell the government and regulators that this is not good enough! https://treasury.gov.au/consultation/t257313/ We also need to tell the Queensland government to stop ignoring consumers and keep its election promise to increase the QCAT limit to at lest $100,000 immediately.
