Residents of Longville and everyone living in a quiet Residential area,

We are faced with a major issue threatening the balance and quality of life within our residences along Journeys End Road.

The prospect of commercial zoning infiltrating our residential zones is a matter of deep concern. 

Within almost all of Longville there is some kind of Commercial zoning,    Except for the Very Specific designated Northwest section,                      All accessed through Journeys End Road.

This area is Completely Designated for only Residential Zoning.              The current City of Longville Zoning map has been in place since 2004 and it was Residential Zoning long before that while within Cass County. 

Longville has been a city here since 1906. Growing and Developed over time since then into a very Quaint and Quite and Friendly place to live within a small town atmosphere.  

Zoning laws were created to separate commercial and residential areas, ensuring quieter, safer neighborhoods and preventing issues such as heavy traffic and noise pollution and many Unknown Development Possibilities that commercial enterprises often bring. 

Allowing any type of Commercial or Zoning changes within a        Designated Residential zoning area, may also lead to lower property values, increased traffic and daily car count and accounting for more noise at all times of the day or night. 

This is an urgent plea to our Local Authorities and Longville City Council    to uphold these Zoning Law boundaries and not permit commercial zoning within residential areas along any of Journeys End Road and all of its extensions and side roads.
