1--PLEASE ATTEND Village of Oak Brook meeting this WEDNESDAY, July 23 at 7 p.m.  

    The long-term agreement with Chic Chef Catering  is on the July 23 Agenda and will be up for vote by village trustees.

    Your attendance is CRITICAL.

2--URGENT---PLEASE E-MAIL village trustees and TELL THEM YOU DO NOT WANT A CATERING OPERATION AT THE OBBT CLUBHOUSE.  Here's why: 

An expanded banquet hall at the OBBT Clubhouse does not benefit Oak Brook residents.  A big hall benefits the caterer only.  We don't want a big banquet hall now, in 20 years or in 30 years.

If you really want to save the OBBT, then pull:

   (a) money that is wasted on the Taste of Oak Brook,

   (b) profits from Oak Brook Golf, and

   (c) other planned unnecessary spending, such as the Multi-Use Path and Bike Route Master Plan and neon lights under the 22nd Street bridge.
