THANK YOU NEIGHBOURS!
We gained over 100 supporters since the publication of the Westend Journal with many heartfelt comments. We’ll share a few sentences with you that touched us:
“thank you for being the voice of Seniors and the vulnerable. As a gay elderly man I feel at a higher risk with those succumbed to addiction. My experience in the neighourhood hasn’t been great as I age. I’m invisible to most or a hate crime for the others. I live on Comox, use a walker and have no family. I am dependent on home support and need to access handidart from my front door. ” (Read the rest of his comment and others online in the Westend Journal.)
It’s people like this gentleman we’re fighting for as a community!
Thank you again, for making us all more visible, especially those who feel invisible! We really are in this together.
Keep talking and sharing this petition. We are stronger together as a group of citizens keeping our community safe❤️
Love and Gratitude,
