Dear supporters,

We need your help! Would you please consider supporting our federal petition advocating for measures that would help prevent wrongful apprehensions of sick, misdiagnosed children across Canada?

What we fight for:

1. Mandate a second, independent expert opinion before apprehensions based solely on suspected abuse;
 
2. Develop national guidelines ensuring relevant medical conditions are ruled out before concluding abuse;
 
3. Collect and publish federal data on child abuse cases initially substantiated bur later found to have medical explanations; and
 
4. Support a national inquiry into wrongful apprehensions due to medical misdiagnoses, including impacts on Indigenous, military and immigrant families.
