There is no minimum age limit for signing a petition. And everyone in your family will be affected! So, please urge your whole family to sign! Use Email, WhatsApp, FaceBook, TikTok, Instagram or whatever social media you use to sheare.
We've reached 4,618 Signatures, ….. but - There are close to 26,000 homes and 1,200 Commercial properties/Businesses that will be impacted so why do we not have more signatures?
Don’t wait until IPART approves the Councils Special Request ( in Feb 2026) and then whinge about paying between $1000 - $4000 a year more on your rates. Because it will be too late to do anything about it. You need to act now!
I have contacted IPART directly informing them of the petition and urging them to read the comments to see how the hike will impact the community and am waiting for a response from them. I will continue "updating" Clayton Barr, Dan Repacholi and the Cessnock council..
