I’d first like to thank you all for your signatures, shares and promotional contributions so far to this petition. I do however have some discouraging news.

I have reached out to multiple members of Parliament, including the Shadow Minister for Early Childhood Education, and I have not received any response. I hope that this isn’t because these are the very politicians that allow this sort of thing to happen, but if it is we should be even more outraged. This is where we need your help. If your feeling the impacts of child care fee increases, please contact local, state and Federal MP’s. Include a link to this petition, and if you get a response you can forward your conversation to me at

From there I can show them the survey results, and begin discussing how we can fix this issue.

To help with the impact of this petition, I have included 1 more optional question in the survey. A 10s video link of you and your family explaining the hardship that childcare fee increases have caused. If you’d like to contribute with the video clip, that would make our case so much more personal. 

Thank you again for your signatures, but please continue sharing! We need to keep up the momentum before the majority of the population just accepts this behaviour.
