We have recently noted that the land that runs next to this site that was originally ear marked for the HS2 line, has now been added to SHELAA.

Whats SHELAA? =The strategic housing and employment land availability assessment

It's essentially a big map with 5 years 'worth' of land which the council offers up as 'available for development' 

Stafford has offered this slice of land up, with the potential for ANOTHER 1000 HOMES TO BE BUILT. 

THAT'S RIGHT. Instead of being content with 2000 homes being built on flood mitigation land, with poor public transport and cycles access.

They've decided to further line those thick little pockets and offer this up 

Bloor wanted to build on this land before they realised HS2 was coming through.

There is every chance we will see a further application going in for this slice of land.
