Thanks for signing the petition to stop the unnecessary £22bn energy bill subsidy to higher income homes.

The Govt. Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy has kindly just shared data suggesting that over £4bn will go to the top 1% of energy users!

While many of the poorest are struggling to afford food for themselves and their children, 250,000 owners of the largest luxury homes will get on average £17k each.

£17k would be a life-changing sum for a household on minimum wage or a basic state pension. It will mean very little to the owners of million pound mansions.

Please do share the petition link widely, post it on social media and discussion forums. Once we get over 100 signatories the campaign gets automatically promoted far more widely.
