The Greater Bengaluru Governance Bill 2024 (GBGB) threatens your right to decide how your ward is governed by disempowering elected councillors and centralising decision-making. If passed, it will weaken local governance and reduce public participation in shaping Bengaluru’s future.

Bengaluru deserves a governance model that is people-centric, democratic, and accountable. We deserve Planning and decentralised governance as promised in the constitution 74th Amendment Act 1992.
