First of all, we would like to thank everyone who has signed our petition so far. We have nearly 1000 signatures is less than a week. Amazing! 

Please keep sharing the petition with your friends, neighbors, colleagues and on social media. The word is getting out and we have gotten nothing but supportive feedback.

Many of you have donated money too. Thank you for your generosity!

Unfortunately, donations made through change.org do not go to our cause, but to change.org for "promoting the petition" which basically means you are paying them to advertise on their own website. This is misleading and duplicitous. Please accept our apologies -- we didn't know they were doing this until recently.

We have spoken with change.org about the "donations" and they have now disabled future "donations" for our petition. They have also agreed to refund the donations you have made. The refunds are not automatic -- you must get in touch with them and request a refund. Send an email to help@change.org and they should be able to help you. 

If anyone would like a lawn sign, to help us canvas during events, or to get involved in other elements of our campaign, please send an email to belmontwild@gmail.com. We could use as much help as we can get.
