Hey everyone! Here’s a quick update for you - and I’m sorry it’s been so long since my last message. In May, I handed in the 116,000 signature petition that you all signed, and that was accepted by Environment Canterbury. Since then, the wonderful group I’m involved with - Aotearoa Water Action (AWA), has started its legal proceedings against ECan, and the bottling plants. We have had a number of depositions hearings, but are currently awaiting court to notify us of a day in the next few months, to begin, in court itself. Once again, we will give you notice of this, so you can come and be a part of it all. To those of you who pledged funds towards our legal costs to date, thanks so much! We are drawing the prizes tonight in ChCh, at Space Academy on St Asaph St. at 5.30pm - 7pm. Hope to see you there!
