Aotearoa Water Action (AWA) is an incorporated society, set up to challenge this country’s water issues, such as this one. AWA has served papers to legally challenge the bottling consents granted by Environment Canterbury (ECan). Although AWA’s members volunteer their skills and time, The society engaged top QC lawyer, Prue Stevens, to put forward this case, at High Court level. Court costs and lawyers fees, can cost around $40,000. We, as a nation, have less than 7 weeks remaining to raise these funds....
