CALL TO ACTION 5/12 PUBLIC HEARING FOR PETITION 41-25:
 
The Public Hearing for Petition 41-25 will open tomorrow night, at Monday 5/12's, City Council meeting, however it will be continued to 6/23 as well.  6/23 will also be the night that Petition 41-25 AND 47-25, the zoning overlay petition for The Fairgrounds, will be voted on by the Leominster City Council.
 
As the person who submitted the Petition, I'll need to say something but will do a blanket statement similar to what we did last week and ask those in favor of 41-25 to stand. That being said, in case there are folks there to speak out against 41-25, it would be great for some people to have speech's prepared. If there's no one from the other side there, you can either still speak, or save what you write for the Planning Board meeting on 6/16. Unlike the City Council who has heard from us repeatedly in person and via email, 6/16 will be the one and only time we will be able to address the Planning Board members, so we will need everyone who has something to say about 41-25 and 47-25 to speak up.
 
Hopefully, we will have a decent turn out again tomorrow night. Same time and place - City Hall, if participating in the pre-meeting rally please arrive between 5:15 and 5:30. Also, please bring your lawn sign to hold. If just attending the meeting please arrive by 6:10. Please wear red!
