Tuesday October 1, 10 am at the Town of Oyster Bay is a revisit for the proposed Jupiter Battery Moratorium. If you can be there to speak your voice or for moral support we would greatly appreciate it.
Our first meeting with the community was a success thanks to the local Civics who set the meeting up. Our very informative speakers on Battery Storage and high voltage cables, our group of volunteers who had flyers, legislative letters and petitions ready to sign.
Even though this event created a post meeting buzz by attendees who had shared the information, many residents are still quite unaware and alarmed about these projects.
Which brings me to my point. If we don't have the ability to reach all of our communities using social media, lawn signs, door hangers, going from door to door to get signatures, word of mouth, community digital signs and banners, then how can Propel and Jupiter say they did what was needed to send the message out to the people who would be directly effected by these projects.
