On Tuesday,  Billingshurst Parish Council voted unanimously at an EGM to defer felling the two Sister Oaks 

They had previously been scheduled for felling this week. They cited the threat of legal action as the reason for the decision. 

Thank you to everyone who donated to the crowd justice.  The solicitor's letter played a major part in the decision. 

Thanks to you,  the trees will still be standing this weekend. 

We have a long way to go yet, but together we can save these magnificent trees
